I'm simply an average girl!
********************
In a world that's all about big achievements, I actually find comfort in being just an average girl. This label gives me a unique sense of identity and belonging. I love life's simple pleasures, like diving into a good book, sipping coffee while people-watching, or having a laugh with friends. These little moments, though small, really shape who I am and offer a calm escape from the chaos of modern life.
My idea of normal comes from my own experiences and surroundings, finding joy in everyday routines. I adore the smell of fresh coffee in the morning, familiar places like my favorite café, and cozy spots at home. Connections with others, like sharing smiles with a neighbor or having deep chats with friends, make my life richer. For me, normal isn't about meeting societal standards but embracing life's quirks and imperfections. I celebrate ordinary moments, knowing they're special. In a world that's always pushing for greatness, accepting being average feels freeing and fulfilling.
Being an average girl means appreciating the little things that make life special. I love jokes that make everyone laugh, having a friend during tough times, and completing small tasks that fit into my life's bigger picture. Every small win, like baking bread or finishing a puzzle, reminds me it's not about big achievements. Often, it's the quiet, everyday moments that really matter. I find happiness in the ups and downs of daily life, realizing that being average is the foundation for a real and fulfilling life.

I suppose I'm not your typical girl, am I?
********************
When I was a kid, I dreamed big, thinking my singing voice was my ticket to greatness. Even though I soon realized I couldn't carry a tune, it just made me more determined to find what I was really meant to do. I figured out that I wasn't a fan of routine and craved change, which I showed by constantly rearranging my room. This habit was all about my changing identity and my love for new experiences. While others seemed content with the norm, I was always questioning things and diving into books that sparked my imagination. I had a hard time focusing my passion in a productive way, but I was set on making a real difference. This drive pushed me to volunteer and get involved in community projects, which helped me find my path and strengthened my belief in using my unique talents to inspire change and help others chase their dreams.
************************
Are You Sure?
************************
When I was a teenager, I was super involved in my church. I went to services all the time and joined in on youth activities that helped me grow spiritually and feel like I belonged. The church felt like a second home, where I learned about compassion, service, and getting involved in the community. I always wanted to go on a mission trip, but money was tight, so I couldn’t. Instead, I found my purpose by helping out with local service projects.
In my 20s, I joined a "walk for Uganda," which was a fundraising event to raise awareness and resources for communities in Uganda. This experience opened my eyes to global poverty issues and showed me how important community support is. I also spent time volunteering at local food banks, which strengthened my commitment to helping others and taught me that even small actions can make a big difference.
Wanting to see more of the world, I joined the military to serve my country and explore. This gave me the chance to travel, experience different cultures, and develop a love for adventure and connection. These experiences really shaped how I see the world and made me crave even more adventures.
Looking back on my journey, I'm always eager to explore the world and dive into different cultures. Airbnb is my go-to for experiencing local life, whether it's in a cozy country home or a bustling city apartment. I'm pumped for my upcoming trip to Europe to uncover hidden gems and make unforgettable memories.
Apart from my personal adventures, I hope my blog can inspire and support people around the world, promoting a positive and loving atmosphere. My daughter and I inspire others with simple acts like picking up trash in our neighborhood, spreading positivity and encouraging community involvement. I'm dedicated to making the world a better place for future generations, knowing that every little effort helps build a culture of care and responsibility.
************************
I'm not aiming to be Miss America or making world peace my top priority. While those are great goals, I'm more focused on my own dreams and what I want to achieve. Success, to me, is about reaching personal goals and not just ticking off society's boxes. For me, it's all about happiness and staying true to myself.
A few years back, my husband and I snagged 62 acres in the Blue Ridge Mountains, dreaming of building our perfect home there. We pictured sipping coffee in the mornings, hiking in the afternoons, and chilling by a fire pit in the evenings. But, the land is still untouched, and our dream seems far away as life keeps throwing us curveballs.
Life's full of surprises and often messes with our plans. Right now, I'm hoping my husband's job will soon let us leave our not-so-great living situation. I dream of moving to our mountain getaway but am staying patient and soaking up the lessons from this time. Even though the journey to our dreams isn't straightforward, I'm all about finding joy along the way and appreciating the now while keeping those future dreams alive.
************************
Returning to a More Positive Perspective
************************
We're super excited to start building our dream house on this amazing land. We're going for a cozy vibe that really reflects what we care about, not something over-the-top. I've always dreamed of having a little farm where my family can get in touch with the land, with animals like chickens, goats, sheep, a mini cow, and horses. It'll be a life full of experiences and connections.
We're also planning to sprinkle some small Airbnbs around our property, each with its own unique style to give visitors an unforgettable countryside experience. These rentals will bring in some income and let us share the beauty of our land, creating a community of nature lovers.
We're thinking of adding a water feature, using a stream and a piece of a scenic lake. It'll be a peaceful spot for relaxation and reflection, with rustic benches and picnic areas by the water.
We love heading to our 62-acre mountain wilderness, camping without modern comforts to really connect with nature. The natural beauty and tranquility offer a refreshing break from city life.
In the future, I hope to set up a country stand selling homegrown produce and homemade goods, connecting with the local community. While city life has its perks, it doesn't quite fit with how we want to live. Until we can move, we're dreaming of fully embracing the peaceful countryside lifestyle.

Other Dreams of Mine!

Checking Out the World: A Journey of Learning and Growth
Traveling is one of the coolest things you can do, giving you and your family the chance to see as much of the world as your schedule and budget allow. It’s a fantastic way to learn and grow personally, making your life richer. Going on trips isn’t just about checking out new spots; it’s about diving into different cultures, trying out new foods, and being blown away by amazing views. These experiences can deeply enrich your life in ways that sticking around in one place just can't match.
Diverse Cultures and Traditions
Checking out new places lets us dive into different cultures, each with its own cool traditions and ways of living. Chatting with the locals gives us a peek into how they see the world, their values, and their history. Joining in on local festivals, picking up a new language, or sharing meals really boosts our global vibe. These adventures shake up our assumptions, expand our horizons, and help us appreciate and empathize with what makes everyone unique.
Foodie Adventures
Traveling is all about the fun of trying new foods, with every place having its own special dishes, ingredients, and cooking styles that show off its culture. Tasting local eats not only makes your taste buds happy but also gives you a peek into the area's history and geography. Whether you're grabbing a bite from a street vendor or dining at a fancy restaurant, the food scene has so many stories to tell. This tasty adventure might even inspire you to whip up some new recipes at home, helping you appreciate cooking and its cultural importance even more.
Amazing Views and Natural Wonders
Besides soaking in different cultures, traveling lets you see the amazing variety of landscapes our world has to offer. Whether you're checking out towering mountains, chilling on peaceful beaches, wandering through green forests, or exploring dry deserts, each place has its own special charm and adventures. Hitting up national parks and nature reserves is a great way to dive into outdoor fun like hiking, camping, and spotting wildlife, helping you feel more connected to nature and giving your spirit a boost. The breathtaking views of nature can really spark a sense of wonder and respect for our planet, nudging travelers to support environmental conservation and sustainability.
A Look at the Past and Learning Chances
Traveling gives you tons of chances to check out historical sites and landmarks packed with culture and learning. When you visit ancient ruins, museums, and cool architecture, you get to really appreciate the past and see how events and people have shaped our world. These experiences can spark a love for history and help you connect with past generations, offering some pretty eye-opening and humbling lessons.
Creating Lasting Memories
Whether you're heading out for a weekend getaway or a big adventure across the continent, every trip is packed with unique experiences that you'll never forget. These moments—whether they're fun, tough, or life-changing—help you grow and learn more about yourself. Traveling gets you out of your comfort zone, makes you more adaptable, and strengthens your resilience. The stories you collect and the friendships you make along the way add to your life story and help you understand yourself and others better.
A Wider View on Life
Travel really broadens your horizons. It gets you to rethink your beliefs and makes you feel more connected to the world. Experiencing the beauty and complexity of the world firsthand makes you appreciate what you have and inspires you to make a positive impact globally. Every trip, whether short or long, reminds you that we’re all connected and highlights the need for empathy, understanding, and respect for every culture. So, exploring new places is an incredibly rewarding adventure that can lead to personal growth, amazing experiences, and a better understanding of life’s diversity. The lessons and memories from these travels stay with you forever, making it a must-do for anyone wanting to dive into the richness of human life.

Thinking about hitting the road for an epic trip across the US? You might want to check out a 5th wheel trailer or a Class A or C RV. A 5th wheel trailer is like having a cozy home on wheels, with lots of space, comfy sleeping spots, a full kitchen, and a separate living area. It's great for family time with shared meals and games. If you're after a bit more luxury, Class A RVs are the way to go, offering roomy interiors, full kitchens, bathrooms, and entertainment systems. On the other hand, Class C RVs are smaller and easier to handle, perfect if you're new to the RV scene. Both types have slide-outs to give you extra living space when you're parked. These vehicles make it easy to be spontaneous, so you won't have to worry about finding places to stay and can explore remote campsites and national parks. Whether you go for a 5th wheel or an RV, you're in for some unforgettable family adventures and a chance to really soak in America's stunning landscapes.

I want my kids to grow up happy, healthy, and as awesome members of society. This means giving them the tools and experiences they need to thrive, creating a safe and supportive space for them to explore their interests, and encouraging them to try out different activities to find what they're good at. By nurturing their curiosity and creativity, I'm aiming to spark a lifelong love of learning, mixing real-world experiences with schoolwork. Building friendships and connections with mentors will boost their confidence and social skills. Traveling will introduce them to different cultures, teaching them empathy, resilience, and adaptability. Supporting their education isn't just about grades; it's about developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills. Encouraging a healthy lifestyle with good food, exercise, and mental wellness is key to their overall growth. Ultimately, I want to empower them to become confident, caring, and responsible adults who make a positive impact in their communities, armed with strong values, a sense of purpose, and the skills to tackle life's challenges.

Get a trustworthy car to keep your family safe and stress-free, especially if you love to travel. A well-kept ride means fewer breakdowns on the road, so you can focus on having fun. Make sure you keep up with regular maintenance like oil changes, tire rotations, and brake checks to dodge expensive fixes. Pick a car that suits your family's lifestyle, thinking about how many people it needs to fit, how much stuff you carry, and where you usually drive. An SUV might be perfect for camping trips, while a compact car is great for city life. A reliable car makes family outings and daily drives smoother, boosting your confidence and creating unforgettable memories. Investing in a dependable vehicle isn't just about money—it's about embracing a life full of adventures and special moments.

How I See Justice and Compassion
********************
I really believe in fairness and think justice should be more about understanding and growth rather than just punishment. Real justice means creating safe spaces where people can learn from their mistakes without being harshly judged. Punishing someone often just makes them feel ashamed and guilty, which doesn't help them grow or take responsibility. Instead, having open conversations and using restorative practices can help people reflect, understand, and make things right, which builds trust and community. This way, we support personal growth and societal progress by promoting empathy and forgiveness. I dream of a world where compassion wins over judgment, and we recognize that everyone has their own story. By pushing for understanding and restorative approaches, we can create a fair and caring society where healing comes before punishment, making sure no one is left behind on their path to growth and redemption.

********************
Having common interests can lead to awesome chats and friendships because they show what we care about and how we see things. Whether it's books, travel, art, or sports, I'm all in for these topics. Tell me what gets you excited, and let's dive in together!
************************
Embracing our differences is super important and really adds to our lives. Everyone has their own unique experiences, beliefs, and backgrounds, which makes everything way more interesting. Diversity gives us all sorts of perspectives that expand how we see the world. I'm excited to learn about what makes you unique because every person's story brings new insights that challenge and expand my own views. Understanding these differences is key to getting a grip on the world's complexities. By having meaningful interactions, I can connect with others, gain insights, and see the world through their eyes, which is truly transformative. This connection deepens my understanding of humanity and helps me appreciate everyone's unique traits, fostering a more inclusive and compassionate society.
Imagine a travel show on the travel channel that explores this idea. Each episode could feature a different community or person, showcasing their lifestyle, customs, and perspectives. This show would be both fun and educational, highlighting the beauty of diversity and the importance of empathy in our globalized world. Sharing these stories would help people appreciate our differences and create genuine connections, reminding us that despite our differences, we all share basic human experiences like love, hope, and happiness.
Being the host or narrator of such a show would be a dream come true. Traveling to far-off places, meeting interesting people, and sharing their stories would enrich my life. This journey would inspire others to embrace diversity and build empathy. Each encounter would be a chance to grow and understand more, celebrating our differences and highlighting the interconnected web of stories around us. Through this journey, I'd aim to spark curiosity in others, encouraging them to explore and appreciate the rich diversity in the world.
************************

********************
I'm all about sticking to my beliefs, shaped by my own principles and experiences. I don't need others to validate me, but I love hearing your stories and seeing the good you're doing in the world. These stories really help me understand people better.
If I don't reply to messages right away, it's because I'm out there living life and making memories. Thanks for being patient while I soak up new experiences. I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
Eminem's words hit home for me: all I can be is just me. I totally embrace my individuality and quirks, and I love celebrating what makes me unique. Being real helps me connect with others and build relationships based on respect and understanding.
Keep an eye out for updates as I share more about my journey of self-discovery. Life is all about learning, and I'm excited to show different sides of myself over time. Each experience shapes me and guides my path.
I hope you appreciate me for who I am, just like I do. Self-love and acceptance are so important in a world that often tells us how to be. I believe in my strengths and talents and want to make a positive impact. Let's support each other as we explore and celebrate life, building a positive community together.

Genius, Who Me?
********************
One day, I really hope to be known as a literary genius whose words hit home for people across generations, sparking both imagination and deep thought. This isn't just some passing daydream; it's a serious goal I hold close. I picture a future where my stories not only entertain but also inspire, shake up norms, and leave a lasting impact.
I truly believe that talking about your dreams can help make them come true. By sharing my literary goals, I'm actively working towards them, kind of like taking care of a plant. Winning the lottery could really change things for me, taking away daily worries and letting me focus on writing the stories I love.
Talking about my dreams is my way of committing to a future full of possibilities. I buy lottery tickets every day, treating it like a little tradition that keeps my life exciting. These small acts keep us grounded, offering some stability in the chaos and reminding us of the power of hope and dreams. Each ticket is a sign of my willingness to dream and welcome change.
Dreaming is key to creativity and ambition. Inspired by Cinderella's journey from tough times to happiness, I've learned that dreams can lead to amazing transformations. Dreams push us to explore new paths and tackle challenges. They drive our ambitions and motivate us to aim for something bigger. Let's dream big and chase those dreams with determination, because it's through this chase that we find out what we're really capable of and how strong we are.

## Why This Blog Matters and What I Hope to Achieve
This blog is super important to me because I've got a bunch of goals I want to hit. Life's short, and my dreams and goals keep me going. In my stairwell, there's a world map with push pins marking all the places and experiences I want to dive into. Each pin tells a story, vision, or adventure I'm hoping to turn into reality.
Walking past this map makes me feel nostalgic and ambitious, reminding me of the adventures, personal wins, and milestones I want to achieve. The map is like a dream tapestry, and I often find myself daydreaming about the cultures, landscapes, and people I want to meet. Sure, money can make these dreams tricky, but it also makes them exciting and teaches me to prioritize and get creative.
The pins on my map stand for personal goals, like hiking in Patagonia, visiting Machu Picchu, or catching a sunrise over the Eiffel Tower. These dreams show my love for growth, adventure, and connecting with the world. The map pushes me to save, plan, and dream even bigger, motivating me to chase opportunities that match my goals.
In this blog, I'll share my dreams and how I'm working to make them happen—lessons learned, challenges faced, and victories celebrated. I hope to inspire others who are juggling dreams with the realities of life. Let's support each other in following our passions and making our dreams come true. Life's too short to let money or fear stop us from exploring. This blog will show that chasing a life you love is totally worth it.
## What Bucket Lists Are All About
Bucket lists aren't just about dreams; they're a collection of things that genuinely excite us and what we want to experience in life. Each item is a story or adventure waiting to happen, whether it's seeing the Northern Lights in Iceland or hiking the Inca Trail in Peru. These places offer experiences that can change our perspective and enrich our lives.
Making a bucket list helps us get to know ourselves better, exploring our passions and discovering new interests. It encourages us to dream big beyond our everyday routines, sparking excitement and purpose. While money can be a limitation, bucket lists are flexible and can often be tackled with creativity rather than a big budget. Local adventures can satisfy wanderlust just as much as traveling far away.
A bucket list motivates us to chase our dreams amidst life's chaos, pushing us out of our comfort zones and into growth. Each goal is a promise to live fully, seize opportunities, and create unforgettable memories. Whether it's learning to surf, volunteering abroad, or road-tripping with friends, these experiences add up to a fulfilling life. In the end, a bucket list is a snapshot of our dreams, a guide to adventure, and a celebration of the journey to achieve them.
### What's Next on the Journey
Hey there! I'm super excited to dive into this blogging journey with you, where I'll be sharing my dreams, thoughts, and what I've learned along the way. Each post will take a look at different parts of my bucket list, explaining why they matter to me and how I'm going after them. My hope is to inspire you to think about and chase your own dreams, no matter how big they might seem.
This blog is where I'll keep track of my progress, celebrate the wins, and tackle any bumps in the road. By sharing my story, I want to create a community of dreamers and doers who are all about making the most of our time. It's not just about ticking things off a list; it's about living a life full of amazing experiences, connections, and unforgettable memories.
