I swung by The Good Shoe Store to get some custom-fit shoes because keeping my alignment in check is super important for me. I've got high arches, an old ankle injury, hip dysplasia, and some bad sitting habits, all of which have been causing me discomfort and pain, making it tough to move around and get through the day. So, I see these custom shoes as a health investment. They give me the arch support I need to ease the pain and help with my balance and posture. My husband thinks they're pricey, but I really think they're worth it for my well-being.

I've also decided to see an orthopedic doctor, which led to physical therapy to fix my alignment and strengthen my muscles, and yeah, that's another expense. But I'm all in for getting these shoes because they help distribute my weight better and take the stress off my joints. After getting the inserts and shoes, I felt way more comfortable and mobile, and I can now enjoy activities without the pain. This whole experience has shown me how important it is to invest in my health, and it's motivated me to live a more active and fulfilling life.
