The Present Me

I'm in search for the perfect gift,

One of priceless value.

It needs to be something that could be useful every day

And benefit me in dozens of different ways.

It needs to be better than any I used in the past

And, through gentle care, will (for a long time) last.

It needs to be something that will put a smile on all those who see it

And assist in rescuing those trapped in the life-sucking, heart-drowning, dark pit.

It needs to be something that can pass wisdom down to the children of tomorrow

And overcome the world’s despairs and sorrows.
