The Kind of Famous That Heals the World

I do not dream of fame for show,
Or flashing lights the whole world knows
I do not want applause alone,
Or love that fades when I’m outgrown
I hope the love I give away,
Still lingers with the ones who stay
That everywhere my heart has gone,
Someone has felt less alone
I want my name to someday mean,
A place where hurting hearts feel seen
A light that finds the souls at sea,
And whispers, “You belong with me”
Not famous for diamonds, stages, or gold,
Not for a story the headlines told
Not for a kingdom built high above,
But world-renowned for relentless love
I want to be the face strangers trust,
Gentle with hearts the world has crushed
The kind of soul who softly stays,
When others turn their eyes away
I do not want to rise so high,
Just to be praised and glorified
I want to teach the world to try,
To see through kinder, gentler eyes
With fewer walls and mercy more,
To open long-forgotten doors
To make the lonely feel they’re seen,
And show this world what love can mean
Love can reach with open hands,
And teach more hearts to understand -
That those the world has left behind,
Still deserve love of every kind
And if one day my name is known,
In cities bright across the globe
I think the greatest gift by far,
Is knowing someone healed their scars
