Multiply or Divide

So what are you going to do today, multiply or divide?
“Marry and have children. Then find spouses for them so that you may have many grandchildren. Multiply! Do not dwindle away!” Jeremiah 29:6
Darkness doesn’t leave by accident. It has to be chased. And chasing it will cost you something.
Chasing the Dark Away started when I got out of jail.
Everyone has darkness in their life. And that darkness will not accidentally leave. You will not wake up one morning with all of it mysteriously gone.
Darkness is intentional, and so is its purpose.
It comes to divide all that you are.
Chasing the dark away is not just about running the devil out of your life; it’s about accepting the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. It’s saying, “Today, Lord, it’s not about me—it’s about You.”
When you remove the devil’s ability to divide, you allow God’s ability to multiply.
And multiplication is always better.
One of Satan’s better tricks is convincing you that because you didn’t choose him, he won’t mess with you. But Scripture is clear:
“Choose this day whom you will serve.”
Not choosing is still a choice.
Jesus said:
“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” — John 10:10
We think that by sitting idle, by not choosing, we are safe. But notice the order: steal comes first.
When we refuse to choose after being told to choose, Satan succeeds in stealing the Word from us. Division begins. And once division starts, the math is simple: take any number and divide it, and you always end up with less than what you started with.
After division comes the kill factor. And when that runs its course, destruction follows.
That’s why Chasing the Dark Away is more than a catchy phrase to me. It’s a matter of life and death.
The choice is yours.
TODAY’S BATTLE ORDERS
Identify one area of your life where you’ve been idle instead of intentional—where you’ve delayed choosing, hoping the darkness would leave on its own.
Write it down.
Then declare out loud: “Today I choose life. I choose the Lord. I choose multiplication over division.”
Take one deliberate action today that aligns with that choice.
WEAPON CHECK
The Weapon of Choice
Division always begins when choice is avoided. Satan doesn’t need your permission to attack—he only needs your indecision.
Choosing God activates multiplication: growth, fruit, life, and abundance. Every time you choose obedience, truth, and surrender, you cut off the enemy’s ability to divide.
Choice is not neutral. Choice is a weapon.
CHECKPOINT
Where has division already begun in your life—your thoughts, relationships, faith, or purpose?
Are you multiplying what God has given you, or allowing it to dwindle through indecision?
Write this down: “I will no longer sit idle. I choose to multiply.”
Darkness doesn’t leave accidentally, and neither does freedom.
So what are you going to do today, multiply or divide?
