I still can’t believe I can say that. 🥹

I published my very first poetry book! 🎉

60 poems from the age of 15 to 39.

It’s available only in paperback version right here.

Unfortunately, to put it on a kindle version is extremely difficult, so I’m working on it. I’ll let everyone know when I get the kindle version live, and running. It’ll be way cheaper than the paperback, and it’ll be available on kindle unlimited.

Until then, you should totally go see that I’m totally not lying. It’s really listed on Amazon, right here.

I’m currently putting together a second book of poems called “Between Now and Forever”.

I wanted to share with everyone the first poem of my second book. I hope you enjoy!

Some hearts enter quietly,

yet leave pawprints everywhere.

For Aspen, Dexter, June, and Cleo -

the little souls with paws and whiskers

who turned our house into a home.

Within the warmth of quiet rooms

Where ordinary days unfold,

Four little souls with watchful eyes

Have filled our lives with gold.

They wander softly through the halls,

They rest where people roam,

For love, to them, is simple truth

Our hearts are simply home.

Aspen came with winter’s breath

One bright December eve,

A Christmas gift with brilliant eyes

Too precious to believe.

One pale as frost, one split with hazel,

A guardian brave and true,

A stubborn spirit, sharp and wise,

Yet full of love anew.

She rides the roads beside my seat

Where distant miles may bend,

My loyal shadow from the start

My constant, faithful friend.

Then Dexter came on Christmas Day

With laughter in his soul,

A shepherd’s heart that longs for love

And makes the family whole.

He brings his ball with hopeful eyes,

Then claims a lap to stay,

Content to sit on anyone

Who wanders near his way.

And June, the orange tabby queen,

Who rules with quiet grace,

Yet sometimes curls beside our feet

Within a peaceful space.

She calls to me in gentle cries

As if she must declare

That love is hers to give away

Though only when she cares.

Sweet Cleo wakes the morning light

With tiny, tender sound,

Her head against our sleepy cheeks

As dawn comes peeking round.

A calico with boundless love

That shines from gentle eyes,

She greets the day with quiet joy

Beneath the waking skies.

And when our home is filled with life,

With laughter, warmth, and cheer,

These little hearts come gathering close

For love lives strongest here.

Not merely pets who share our days

Or wander through our door

But quiet threads within our lives

We’ll treasure evermore.

Four small souls, forever ours. 💝
